ADI-R

Autism Diagnostic Interview: a standardised interview with caregivers which, together with the ADOS-2, is regarded as the international standard of autism assessment.

Abbreviation
ADI-R
Also called
Autism Diagnostic Interview

The Autism Diagnostic Interview (ADI-R) is regarded, together with the observation schedule ADOS-2, as the internationally recognised standard of autism assessment. [1] Assessment is based, among other things, on information from caregivers, for example on early development. [1]

No procedure replaces the overall judgement by professionals; the procedures are not unrestrictedly specific. [1]
